Things I learned at school today: Part 2

I have ADHD.

We have to take Psychiatry, which was really interesting when we were studying Schizophrenia and Mood Disorders, and even addiction. But some of it is just lame. Like Freud.

ADHD is one of the lame things. The definition is broad enough that pretty much everybody I know could be diagnosed. Well at least all the males I know.

Have you checked out the definition for Borderline Personality Disorder? When I studied that, I too thought of almost every woman I know, including myself. However, after working with M's mom, I grasped the real 'feel' of someone with a classic Borderline Personality Disorder. Of course, it could have just been anger that kept being prompted by the enemy and his people!

I agree about ADHD. I wonder how many people are misdiagnosed every year. I bet it's a lot. Especially kids/little boys. Uh oh, little Jimmy isn't paying attention in class and keeps making guns out of his pencils! MUST be ADHD! Lame indeed.
